I Am a Shell Without a Nut

Oh cruel darkness! Oh merciless irony! Right when you return my shell of a powered-up body to me, you take it all away! You have cracked my shell, and removed my nut of specialness! Not only that, but my mommy and daddy are turning against me! Whose bosom will I cry into now?! I guess it’ll have to be Sylar’s…

Sylar! That cur! He is turning my mother against me. Once I was my mommy’s favorite. Now, it seems to be Sylar. I mean, I’ve been aching for her to accept my darkness, but instead she accepts someone who’s tried to kill me! I do want to die, but only from me cutting my own wrists, not at the hands of some cross-dressing serial killer!

What’s worse, my daddy is still alive! He hasn’t felt the warm embrace of death after all. Poor soul.

And then it happened! My nut was lost! It was my father himself who pried my nut from me. And now I have no nutty powers. Now I am no longer special. Special. Was I ever really special? Or was I just a harbinger of pain and destruction? Is this a blessing my father has given me? So that I could once again drown in the sea of the general populace and no longer tear the universe’s anus asunder with my never-ending, God-like powers?

No, this Petrelli is not a sheep. If the world is to be destroyed at my hands, it is only because it is meant to be. Yes, I must once again get my hand on my special nut. For if I do not, I will become lost. My shell is empty, and a shell is nothing without its nut.

And so, I shall destroy my father. He shall feel the darkness inside of me through my emotional, poetic musings. But I must be wary, for my father could still best me. For even if my deep, metaphorical nature could top mostly anyone in this shallow universe, one may one day offer a logic and a prose that I cannot, which would cause my ultimate destruction. After all, even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.

Powerful Words. Poetic Warfare. Ultimate Destruction via Metaphor. Such is Peter.

By the way, I guess you should submit your ideas on that Photo Caption Contest. After all, a word is worth a thousand pictures, so add some words to them! Also, I am an agent of proganda for this blog. Forgive me.
